AZDEN SGM-PDII is a pretty small short gun mic that is easy to attach on a videocam. It comes with a foam windscreen,a fixed XLR cable and a soft case.

To attach on a videocam, those short gun mics need a spacer to fit. I also got one from SONY which is very good fit on the Canon XF205

To compare RODE NTG-2, the AZDEN mic has very good size attached on a medium size of videocam, the RODE is a bit longer which might be good for a larger size of videocam. With the sound quality, they are both pretty good and would be able to fit different purposes due to the AZDEN has more on mid-high frequency than NTG-2 which has more mid-low frequency of representation.
